Founder stories
MATSUKO's mission is to imbue remote communication with a sense of physical presence and in doing so, to create the closest alternative to face-to-face meetings. Our partnership with hubraum and other leading telcos is crucial for enhancing our user experience and the quality of service. Together with these telcos, we are preparing the service to be interoperable and integrated with several devices and services. More specifically, the 5G network APIs we've had access to at hubraum have improved our user experience. Real-time streaming requires a high resolution, which in turn demands stable bandwidth — even when we have heavy traffic, we needed to guarantee a high frame rate to be able to see the facial expressions of the hologram clearly, and a low latency in order to interact in real time and thus supply a feeling of presence.
Working with hubraum has been an incredibly transformative and elevating journey for our startup and technology!
Collaborating with a global telco leader like Deutsche Telekom is both inspiring and rewarding, while hubraum's meticulous organization ensures every aspect of the Wi-Fi Sensing Program, which we took part in, is seamlessly managed. This enabled us to focus on what we do best: innovation.
We had exclusive access to cutting-edge technologies like Wi-Fi Sensing and proudly showcased our advancements with it at DigitalX – an absolutely outstanding opportunity, with more to come at our next stop with hubraum - MWC ’25 in Barcelona!
hubraum is a great partner — they champion us relentlessly, something which leads to us working smoothly with Deutsche Telekom. Whenever you have an idea of how they can be helpful they will go to great lengths to make it happen. They’re a 10/10 founder-friendly team.
Our journey with hubraum has been nothing short of amazing! hubraum truly cares about its startups’ success. Its commitment to supporting innovative ideas and businesses is what sets them apart as a valuable partner in the startup community. We had so much fun during the AR scavenger hunt at the hubraum campus during the 10th anniversary. Besides this, we also had the opportunity to demonstrate our products in Bonn. These events have been so helpful for us for collecting leads, meeting investors, and networking with fellow entrepreneurs.
Our collaboration with hubraum of Deutsche Telekom has proven to be a crucial factor in our success. Thanks to the dedicated support of the hubraum team, we were able to establish valuable connections with key individuals within Telekom, enabling POCs, user tests, and laying the groundwork for future collaborations. The provision of office space and invitations to high-profile events such as the Startupnight in Berlin and the MWC in Barcelona, where we are privileged to showcase family.cards at the hubraum booth, has significantly enhanced our reach and visibility. This partnership has not only propelled our product development forward but also positioned us uniquely to introduce family.cards to a global audience.

High energy, top university alumni and the kind of conversations that stick. 🎯 What a night! For the 20th edition of Berlin Startup Talks, our campus hosted a mix of familiar faces and new connections - the alumni and students from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management ,INSEAD, Università Bocconi, University of St. Gallen - HSG, University of Oxford, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and more. First-time founders, serial entrepreneurs and investors filled the room! The outcome? Curious and thought-provoking questions, insightful talks, and a great atmosphere. 🤝 Pitches from our residents ginkgo and Doings sparked forward-thinking discussions later on, with guests diving deeper into the demos and ideas after the on-stage program! This is exactly the kind of community we love building, and we were delighted to create a space for them to meet, for ideas to flow, and for new collaborations to be born over shared ambition.💡 A big thank you to everyone who joined and made the evening a success! #Startups #Tech #Berlin Jana Eisfeld | Verena Dillenburg | Dr. Daniel Kreter | Carl Meran | Johannes Ottmann | Andreas Schäfer | Stine Täubert
